I was recently lucky enough to have the opportunity of interviewing Kyle Anderson, who for six years has worked at the prestigious Elle Magazine. Before landing a job at Elle he interned around town for various magazines for three years. Through perseverance, hard work, and a hell of a lot of determination Mr. Anderson landed a coveted job at Elle Magazine thanks in part to Nina Garcia. Being born in Sweden, was it hard to acclimate to America & American culture?
No, because when I was in Sweden I was really small so I don’t really remember much of the transition from Sweden to the US. Plus where I grew up in the US was an area of mostly German Americans. If anything I feel like I have a really strong connection to Germany, its food and customs. Every year I go to Berlin for German Fashion week, which is in the winter and then visit again in the summer. Even though I was born in Sweden, I’m ½ German (my mom is full) so that really adds to my connection to the country.
When you went to Morocco, you went with Bryan aka bryanboy. In that trip what was most memorable?
Morocco was a really fun trip but the best part was definitely having Bryan[boy] there. He’s really sweet; actually he’s like my big sister.
